Starting from May Firsf, the Veterinary Department will move over to a five day work week. The department, directed by veterinarian, Dr. Yossi Simhon, operates under the jurisdiction of both the Raanana and Kfar Saba Municipalities.

With the move to a five day work week, there will be changes in the department's office hours as follows:

The Raanana office will be opened from Sunday to Thursday between the hours of 8:00 and 15:30 and on Fridays and holiday eves from 8:00 to 11:30.

The secondary tests will be administered in Raanana from Sunday to Thursday between the hours of 6:30 and 15:30 and on Fridays and holiday eves from 6:30 to 11:30.

Rabies inoculations will be given in Raanana on Sundays to Thursdays between the hours of 8:00 and 14:00 and in Kfar Saba, on 125 Weizmann Street (the municipal market), on Sundays and Thursdays between the hours of 16:00 and 18:00.

Residents interested in adopting a dog are invited to visit the Veterinary Department on Sundays to Thursdays, between the hours of 8:00 and 14:00.

The animal pound in Raanana is open on Sundays to Thursdays from 8:00 to 14:00 and on Fridays and holiday eves from 8:00 to 11:00.
