Chol Hamoed Pesach – 11.4.09 – 15.4.09

For the first time in Israel, the Festipark will be held at the Raanana Park, on Chol Hamoed Pesach.  Israel’s children’s festival is designed for children ages two to 12, and their parents are also invited to become children again for one day…

The best of the children’s performers will appear at the festival, including :  Yuval Hamebulbal, Gur and Och from the Jetix channel, Mimi and Vivieu, Hop Friends Schow with Nachshon Kol Yachol, Dudidu and the Kuntzim, Michal Tzafir, Kobi Machat, David Chaim, Tal Man and the Dora Show.

In addition, there will be activities such as inflatables, the Y Circus, a giant Gymboree area, magic shows, acrobatic shows, puppet shows, a fair, a fantasy parade, a drummers’ circle, juggling workshop and characters will stroll the park.

The FestiPark, will be held on Chol Hamoed Pesach, from 11.4.09 to 15.4.09 from 10:00 to 18:00 at the beautiful Raanana Park, with its green pastoral surroundings and its lake situated in the heart of the park.

Raanana Park is the city’s central green lung and it spans an area of 200 dunams.  The park is a focal point for both Raanana residents and visitors to the city, thanks to the wide variety of activities and attractions it offers.  Chaverim Park located at Raanana Park is the first playground of its kind that includes unique accessible equipment for special needs children, in order to help them integrate into community life.  Raanana Park also offers roller rinks, integrated sports fields, animal corner, walking and biking paths, lawns, statues and an amazing artificial lake in the shape of the city’s insignia, with a gondola and water fowl.  Near the lake is a café and the Gallery by the Lake, which presents group and individual exhibitions throughout the year, by artists from Israel and abroad and the Raanana Amphitheater which is one of Israel’s main cultural centers.  It hosts many large musical events under the stars.
