A new exhibition will open at Raanana’s Lev Hapark Community Center with the paintings of artist, Michal Amidor-Ezra, entitled “Flying High”, which includes artwork in which the main model is a bird painted on plywood.

The artist, a graduate of the art academy, has returned to painting after many years.  At the beginning of her journey, she selected a dove as a model, to create an artistic language, gradually she added sparrows, migrating birds and recently elegant, coquettish birds, wearing beads around their necks.

Alongside the birds are flowers in bold colors, ranging from those in bloom to those withering, which complete the picturesque contemporary expression of the artist, reflecting her internal landscape of collective and personal, universal and Israeli expanses.

The grand opening will be held on Wednesday, 28.4.10 from 19:30.
