Holocaust Martyrs' and Heroes' Remembrance Day ceremony will be held in Raanana on Sunday 11.4.10 at 20:00 at the Yad LaBanim Plaza.  Mayor Nahum Hofree will be in attendance.

The them of this year’s annual ceremony is “Poems from the Ashes” and will include poetry written by both those who perished and those who survived the Holocaust.  Six Holocaust survivors, Raanana residents, will light torches at the ceremony and Anat Atzmon and the Sirenot Ensemble will recite and sing the poetry and songs.

On Holocaust Martyrs' and Heroes' Remembrance Day, Monday, 12.4.10, a name reciting ceremony will be held at the Yad LaBanim Plaza, entitled:  “Every Person Has a Name”.  The names of victims of the Holocaust will be recited by students and residents between the hours of 10:00 – 13:00 and 16:00-18:00.
The public is invited to take part in the ceremony and to come recite the names of their loved ones who perished in the Holocaust.
