The Raanana Municipality will hold an end of summer event for youth and young people at an End of Summer Party held on the Raanana Park basketball courts, on Saturday night, 28.8.10, starting 23:00.

Throughout the summer vacation, the Youth and Young Adults Department has run a variety of programs every day, during all hours of the evening and night, to provide a solution for thousands of young people during the vacation.

Thousands of young people took part in the successful program that was held at different locations across the city:  Raanana Park activity (Shanti, game tables, young musicians and nighttime sports), films at reduced prices screened at Park Cinema, nighttime swimming at the municipal pool, parties and concerts at the HaMartef Club, etc.  The Raanana Municipality also runs a unique free shuttle service for teens, to and from the activity centers.

The end of summer party will include DJ Efrat and Hakivsa Hanoshechet (a live electro-band), Moshe ‘Atraf’ Asraf (drummer for Hadag Nachash) and Asaf Rot (musician with Barry Saharof and Shlomo Artzi) and DJs from the HaMartef Club – Ben Raz and Ofir Gorsawi.

There will also be road safety simulators on hand:  an overturning car, driving under the influence and alcohol reflectors, sponsored by the National Authority for Road Safety.

Also on hand will be a Shanti area, a food booth, graffiti wall and game tables.  The nighttime shuttle bus to the Raanana Park will be available from 22:00 to 3:00 in the morning along Ahuza Street.
