: A new exhibition by artist Michael Mosberg, entitled “Fall Leaves” will open shortly at Raanana’s Lev Hapark Community Center.
Michael Mosberg presents a collection of his work from recent years, which reflects his personality and milestones in his life in a new light. He has been painting since childhood, left it at a certain stage and returned to it only in the 1990s.
The artwork presented in the exhibition was created primarily in the last decade, as part of the Lev Hapark Community Center Artists’ Circle run by Yehudit Moshek-Webski.
The nature and landscape are present in almost all of his work, engaging in different dialogues between memory and reality, individual and the collective, man and the land, photography and painting and the figurative and the abstract.
A special place has been dedicated to art dealing with childhood, adolescent and adult memories of Kfar Shmaryahu, when it was an agricultural village, founded by his parents and others. Michael lived there until the year 2000.
Due to his great sensitivity, his unconventional outlook and the picturesque nature of his work, Michael succeeds in relaying the memory in a complex, thought and emotion provoking manner.
Grand opening will be held on Friday, 3.9.10 at 11:00 in the morning.
Visiting hours: Sunday 10:00 to 13:00, Monday to Thursday 10:00-13:00, 16:00 -19:00.
Curator: Ruti Hinsky-Amitai.
