Players Yossi Shivchon from Hapoel Tel Aviv, Israel champion and Israel trophy winner, Gil Cooper and Snir Shoker from Hapoel Raanana spoke with the students and told them how they reached their athletic achievements and encouraged them to keep up with their training while working hard at their studies.

A Friendly Soccer Match with Education Ministry Representatives
A friendly soccer match was held between counselors of the soccer camp and representatives of the education ministry and coaches led by Raffi Dahan – the Central Region’s Social and Youth Administration Director.  Raffi Dahan praised the coordinators for the spirit, initiative and faith that characterize the summer programs in particular and the Supplementary Education Projects in general.  He said that Raanana summer camps act as a national model of excellence, innovation, professionalism and team work.

Raanana children are invited to join the ranks of the Soccer Academy, throughout the year, run by the Batei Hatalmid Afterschool Programs and Hapoel Raanana.  As part of the soccer academy, over 1,000 students train to become soccer players, learning the basics of soccer, and good sportsmanship and fair play.
