Once again, this year, the Raanana Municipality is planning a variety of colorful events for the entire family on Purim:

Megilla Reading of the Youth Council for all the city’s youth – Saturday Night, 27.2.10 at 19:00 at the HaMartef Club.

White Night for Youth Saturday Night, 27.2.10 at 22:00 – 05:00 at the Municipal Youth Center :  An entertainment troupe (youth volunteers) will run a holiday youth event including a costume contest, food, music, films and games.

Purim Ball at the Municipal Youth Center -27.2.10 at 19:00

Purim Open Mike in cooperation with Klei Zemer at the HaMartef Club – Thursday, 25.2.10 at 19:00 – Youth play and perform, masquerading as favorite bands, singers and musicians from different time periods.  

Laughter Yoga at the HaMartef Club – Monday, 1.3.10 at 20:00

The Happy Stage – Interactive Stage, Games, Clowns and Shows – Sunday, 28.2.10 from 10:00 – 12:30 at the Hamishkan Center for Music and Art, Hapalmach 2,A, Raanana
A variety of activities and attractions for the entire family, including street theater and performances of the Raanana dance academy.  Program includes:  The Missing Dwarf, the Game Avenue, floor games, interactive stage, clown and green people entertaining.  In case of rain the event will be postponed to another date.
 
PuriMada at the Eshkol Hapayis Center – Fascinating workshops for kids in preschool to grade six  on Monday, 1.3.08 from 9:00 to 13:00
The program includes:  a communications workshop (Camera Tricks); a computer workshop (Computers in Costume); an art workshop (Smiling Masks); a cognitive workshop (A Purim Mystery); a science workshop (Purim Illusions); an aeronautics workshop (Star Wars).
Price:  NIS 40. 

Megilla Reading for Everyone- Explanations, Singing and Artistic Program, Saturday Night, 27.2.10 at 19:00 at the Lechu Neranena Congregation’s Event Hall   – This traditional event is in its 7th year and is designed for the entire family. The event includes the reading of the Megilla reading conducted   explanations, song, an artistic program, all in a special festive environment.   Free Admission!

Costume Fair for the Children of the World and the Study Center – Thursday, 11.2.10 at 17:00 at the Absorption Center
The community event will include performances by Pirchei Raanana Boys Choir; Efrochei Raanana Ktantanim Dance Troup; Children’s Studios – School of the Performing Arts; a colorful costume fair, arts and crafts workshops run by the Children’s Parliament and members of TZAMERET, a Purim happening, surprises, etc.

Purimon at the Spinoza Club on Tuesday, 23.2.10 from 16:30 to 18:00 – Municipal MADATZIM will run the Purimon for the community at large.  Activities include makeup, music, and contests.

Purim Party with Beit Keidar - Students of the Municipal Youth Council celebrate with children with special needs on Wednesday, 24.2.10 at 19:00 at the Municipal Youth Center

“Opening a Mouth to a Rabbit” – An improvisation show by a young a witty theater group, Saturday night, 27.2.10 at 21:00, HaMishkan Center for Music and Arts
A witty improvisation show comprised of improvised skits, games and songs.  The audience take an active part in the show, determining the locations, characteristics of the characters and they challenge the actors.  A special one time performance of a young witty theater group.
Performers:  Eli Galprin, Michal Levi, Guy Mesika, Roi Tzadok, Ayelet Robinson.

Purim Happening at Chaverim Park in cooperation with Beit Issie Shapira – Sunday, 28.2.10 at 12:00
MAFTEACH volunteers will hold a happening including arts and crafts, balloon sculptures, music, dancing and activities.

Children’s Play – The Wizard of Oz – by the Teatroneto Project (Youth Volunteers) – Monday, 1.3.10 at 17:00 at the Absorption Center; Wednesday, 3.3.10 at 17:00 at the Hashachar Library.
