adloyada-5.3.10

Due to the rainy weather forecast for this weekend, the parade will be postponed to Friday, 5.3.10 at 10:30

Raanana has decided to postpone its Adloyada Purim Parade to a different day, due to the wintry weather expected this weekend.

Raanana’s traditional Adloyada, which has been held annually for over twenty years, is produced as a creative community project, that integrates a variety of art fields and includes the active participation of parents, teachers and students.  This year, the parade will include 13 elementary schools, 15 colorful floats, dance troupes, school orchestras.

The theme of this year’s Purim parade is “The Carnival of Nature’s Colors” – and will include different floats and costumes related to subjects of environmental protection, sustainability, a love of Israel and nature.

The Raanana Park train with children in costume will lead the parade of schools, where each school will present a unique subject related to its artistic educational activity.  Among the schools participating:  Yavneh Elementary School (‘Butterflies in Nature’); Bartov Elementary School (‘The Flowers of Israel’); Dekel Elementary School (‘All the Sounds of the Rainbow’); Yonatan Middle School (‘Birds in the Head’); Aviv High School (‘Man’s Nature’); Ostrovsky High School (‘Talk to Me About Flowers’); Miftan Almog School (Carnival in the Jungle’) and Beit Hayotzer (‘Swan Lake’).
