During the month of July, Raanana’s Golden Age Club will host an exhibition of paintings by artists from Beit Perry.

The center is designed for people with special needs, and was established by ALUT (The Israel Society for Autistic Children), with the help of a generous contribution from the late Lilly and Morris Perry.

At the exhibition, the residents of the Perry House will display their unique and colorful artwork.  This exhibition is in keeping with Raanana’s philosophy which believes in accessibility and promoting activity for people with special needs in order to integrate them into the community.

There are currently 18 residents living at Beit Perry, aged 18-36.  The residents are assigned to various academic and employment frameworks during the morning hours and during the afternoon they return to their homes.  In addition, the residents take part in various extracurricular activities and activities at the center.

The official opening of the exhibition will be held on Monday, 7.7.08, at 16:30, at the Golden Age Club and will be attended by Mayor Nahum Hofree and Deputy Mayor Ronit Weintraub (culture, youth and leisure portfolio).
