The representatives visited camps at Raanana Park, Hayovel Elementary School, the Young Music Center, the Arts Center, Eshkol Hapayis and the New Community Center.  During their visit, Central Region Social Services and Youth Administration Director, Rafi Dahan, praised the program for its professionalism and team spirit he witnessed at the summer activities.  Local Authority Inspector Rachel Fauester praised the ‘safe summer’ project led by the Children’s Parliament members.  The Parliament members visit the different camps and instruct the children on the subjects of road safety, protecting oneself from harmful rays of the sun, safe swimming and rules of caution at home and in the neighborhood and they also distribute information to the children.

Mayor Nahum Hofree:  “Our municipal summer programs have made a name for themselves, providing our children and youth with quality time during the vacation.”

Deputy Mayor Aryeh Friedman, Director of the Informal Education Administration:  “The wide variety of summer camps enables the children and youth to find a framework that suits them during the long summer vacation.”

Registration continues for the second session:  Camps include:  communications and leadership; soccer, martial arts, animals- nature-experiences; ‘Like Older Kids’; sports, tennis, art, drumming, film camp, to be a star, magic and tricks, summer courses. 
The third session’s camp is called “Closing the Summer”.
