The municipality, in cooperation with the Kfar Saba police, has recently completed manning Raanana’s Community Police Stations.

Recently, three community police stations have opened in Raanana, as part of the extensive municipal investment in the strengthening of the residents’ sense of security and meeting their various needs.  The police stations operate near the Ostrovsky and Mor Metrowest High Schools and at the Lev Hapark Community Center.  The centers are open each day for 12 hours.

The community police stations have proven their ability to strengthen the relationship with the residents in their specific section of Raanana, becoming familiar with the needs of the local community and maintaining direct contact with and managing the volunteers.  Additionally, employees at the community police centers work in close cooperation with the municipal education institutions through training and lectures given at preschools and schools in many fields, such as road safety, teenage addiction, violence, etc.

The following is the contact information for the police officers at the community police stations:

Sergeant Major Asaf Ben Yakir – Police station near Mor Metrowest High School:  09-7411581, 050-6275528.
First Sergeant Alex Schwartz – Lev Hapark Community Police Station:  09-7743893, 050-6277576.
Warrant Officer Yoni Rosenfeld – Police Station near Ostrovsky High School: 09-7744910, 050-6276753.

Mayor Nahum Hofree:  “Raanana considers itself committed to help the police as much as possible and to work cooperatively with them.  In this spirit, we have set up community police stations to solve the problems in the community, according to local needs.”
