‘Transformation’ – an exhibition by artist Leah Paul-Raab – will open at Raanana’s Gallery By the Lake.

Leah Paul- Raab studied art at the University of New Hampshire and is a graduate of Bezalel Institute of Art.  This present exhibition is a number of series, which are interrelated and tell the story of change and transformation.

In the series of turtles (which act as a metaphor for her personal identity), the figures turn into human ones in a seascape, almost free of the pull of gravity.

In addition, the exhibition includes impressive landscapes, which also display her talent and unique nature as an artist.

The official opening will be held on 16.7.10 at 12:00 and attended by Mayor Nahum Hofree and Deputy Mayor Ronit Weintraub, director of the Culture, Youth and Leisure Division.

Gallery By the Lake is located at 10 Derech Hapark.  Gallery Hours:  Sundays to Thursdays:  10:00 to 13:30 and 16:00 to 22:00; Fridays from 10:00 to 13:00 and Saturdays from 21:00 to 23:00.
