Dr. Glass, a Raanana resident and the municipal veterinarian for the Raanana and Kfar Saba municipalities for the past forty years,  died last Friday and was buried at the beginning of the week at the Kfar Nahman Cemetery.  Dr. Glass retired two years ago.  He left behind a wife, three children and grandchildren.

Dr. Glass, who was born in Petach Tikva, became the legendary veterinarian of the two cities and completely dedicated himself to public health issues.  Over the years, he also serviced as the chairman of the Israeli veterinarians' union and worked diligently to promote veterinary medicine and the status of the veterinarian in Israel.

Dr. Glass was an extraordinary personality on the local scene and over the years, he stood out as a professional devoted to his principles, even when they were not popular, and he adhered to his beliefs.
