All money raised by the sale of tickets to the show will be used for the fund’s activities on behalf of the children of Raanana

NIS 90,000 was raised at the annual fundraiser for Keren Roi Lo Echsar, to be used for continuing the fund's activities on behalf of the children of Raanana.

The fundraiser was held on March 9 at Yad Lebanim in Raanana, in the presence of Mayor Nahum Hofree and with the participation of municipality Managing Director Avi Laufer, MK Zeev Bielski, and other prominent figures.

The event included stand-up comic Kobi Maimon, a performance by the Hakol Dvash ensemble, and graduates of the Mendi Kol Dance Center in a tap dancing show.

Keren Roi Lo Echsar was set up by Moshe and Etti Hassan, residents of the city, to commemorate their son Roi who fell during his military service. The association, whose members are active volunteers, helps local children in many different areas: buying schoolbooks, paying for school trips and the trip to Poland, psychological and didactic assessment, buying computers, paying for extracurricular classes, summer camps, and so on.

Mayor Nahum Hofree: "The way so many members of the community have come together for the fundraising evening is heartwarming, and proves once again the willingness of local residents and many others to help and contribute to the fund's important activities on behalf of our children."
