Last week the millennium league series of games was held at the municipal sports center, with the participation of hundreds of students from Raanana who take part in the Students House basketball school.

The Students House basketball school operates in 12 Students Houses, under the auspices of the department of supplementary education in the informal education administration, with around 400 children. The Basketball School has a team of experienced professional trainers who teach basketball customs and a fair sporting attitude from a young age.
 
The millennium league is an internal league for the Raanana Students House basketball school, aimed at challenging the children and preparing them, educationally and professionally, for a competitive framework.
The results of the league games: Dekel -  Ariel 16:16, Bilu – Hayovel: 9:39, Shaked – Megged: 35:39, Ziv – Yavne: 20:30, Bartov – Hadar: 20:28, Noam – Paamonim: 10:24.

During the Passover vacation, Raanana municipality will hold a basketball camp for first to sixth graders in the sports hall of Dekel School. The camp will include learning the basketball basics, personal and group competitions with prizes, a best-of-three tournament, the Golden Hand championship, and a meeting with players and coaches from the premier league.
