“The Last Word” for Purim - Wednesday, 16.3.11 at 20:30 at the HaMishkan Cetner for Music and Art - a special show with funny, witty and refreshing stories for Purim. Featuring all the hosts of the popular Galei Zahal radio show - “The Last Word”.

Adloyada 2011 Purim Parade - “Biblical Stories” - Friday, 18.3.11 at 11:00 - A colorful parade of costumes along Ahuza Street, from Akiva and Levi Eshkol streets to the Mashbir Plaza and Ben Gurion Street. The parade will feature 1,500 students from Raanana’s schools and Supplementary Education programs who will march wearing colorful costumes and carrying props. The event is open to the public at large.
Megillah Reading for Everyone - Saturday Night, 19.3.11 at 19:10 - Reading of the Purim megillah in a special atmosphere, at the Lechu Neranena Synagogue’s events’ hall (located at 5 Herzl Street). Free admission.
Colorful and Amazing Purim Celebration for the Entire Family - Sunday, 20.3.11 from 10:00 to 13:00 at the Yad LaBanim Plaza: The Waterloo Band will play ABBA’s music for the entire family - a special performance featuring all the great songs, in special exciting arrangements. A variety of activities and attractions will be offered for the entire family, including street theater, performances by the Raanana Dance Academy, a performance stage, clowns, acrobats, workshops and activities. The public is invited to attend!
Purimada - Monday, 21.3.11, from 9:00 to 13:00 at the Eshkol Hapayis Center (46 Ha’hayil Street) - workshops in the fields of art, computers, sciences, cognitive games, stained glass as well as hands-on activities for preschool and elementary school students. Monday, 21.3.11, at 10:30 and 12:00 - “Beigaleh” for ages 3 to 7 - Puppet Theater inside a giant doghouse, inspired by Beigaleh the long conceited dog and the small wise golden little dog.
Monday, 21.3.11 at 16:30 - “The Hungry Chef” - for ages 5 to 10 - Puppet Theater based on the book “The Hungry Caterpillar” by Eric Carle. A circus performance without words which is both suspenseful and funny, about a nervous chef and a hungry caterpillar who eats his entire kitchen.
