At the Traffic Commission meeting held in April and attended by municipal representatives, the police and a residents' representative, the commission members heard the requests of the street's residents and decided to approve new traffic arrangements, following a professional assessment.

Pursuant to the decision, Peretz Street will become a one way street in the section between Kfar Nahman and Geula Street, so that the traffic will be permitted to flow from west to east only, on all hours of the day and all days of the year.  The Traffic Commission's decision has received the approval of the Ministry of Transportation.

This week, the City Engineer sent a letter to residents of Peretz Street detailing the upcoming traffic changes.  The traffic changes will take effect at the beginning of June.
