: This past Saturday night, thousands of Raanana residents packed the Raanana Park Amphitheater to bring in the new year at a traditional official concert organized by the Raanana Municipality in honor of Raanana residents. Performing at the concert were artists Gali Atari, Shimon Bouskila, Limor Shapira-Sofran, accompanied by the Raanana Symphonette, conducted by David Zeba. The concert was hosted by Shaike Levi (Hagashash Hachiver).
The festive event entitled “A Festival of Israeli Tempos from Wilensky Until Today” included performances by many artists including: Gali Atari singing her hits “Valentino”, “What You Like”, “A Song will Bring you Love”; Shimon Bouskila with his hits “You Are My Tomorrow”, “I Was in Heaven” and Shaike Levi sang “To the Wells”, “Friends” and “Finale Song”.
Mayor Nahum Hofree and Deputy Mayors Ronit Weintraub (Culture, Youth and Leisure Division), Aryeh Friedman and Attorney Eitan Ginzburg were in attendance.
Mayor Nahum Hofree welcomed the guests: “Rosh Hashanah is a symbol of renewal and hopeful beginnings. I wish you, with all my heart, a year of peace, tolerance, respect, love, good health, growth and success.”
