7 elementary schools have joined the "green network", designed to promote green leadership, encourage recycling and protecting the environment, in cooperation with the Environmental Protection Division.

"Hospitality Gardens" have been planted at various preschools and elementary schools, promoting the issue of nature in the preschool and elementary school environment.  They include an ecological garden, where students observe flora and fauna.

Elementary schools have implemented the "Birds in the Head" Project, that highlights the importance and contribution of the municipal nature to day-to-day life.

2 Raanana high schools run an environmental protection studies department.

35 preschool teachers and assistants in the YULA full day preschool program participated in the "Environmental Seeds" Project designed to train all the educational staff at the city's preschools to teach subjects related to nature, environmental protection, green environment and green consumerism.
